Our Made to Order Service
Here at Margaux Studios, we offer a completely handmade and made-to-order service.
What do you mean by made-to-order? It’s as simple as this; You place an order, and we hand-make your jewellery here in North London.
How long does it take for you to ship my items? As each piece of jewellery is hand-made to order especially for you; As a guide please allow 5-10 working days before the item is shipped. During exceptionally busy periods, this lead time may go up to 15 working days, but please refer to the large banner at the top of the website for daily updates.
Why is this better for the environment? The majority of the time the fashion, jewellery & accessories industry is incredibly faced paced and wasteful. With brands feeling the pressure to constantly be showcasing ‘the latest thing’ to their billions of customers, a huge amount of pressure is put on factories and the workers within them (most often in the third world). This also leads to over-production and therefore substantial amounts of excess stock that eventually end up in landfill. This is not remotely ethical nor sustainable.
We do not order large quantities of beads, components and fabrics. We do not have our jewellery or accessories made in sweatshops overseas and we pay all of our suppliers living wages. Not only that; nothing goes to waste at Margaux Studios and our postal packaging is all fully recyclable. Our gold is conflict-free and our pearls have been sustainably sourced with a small, family-run business in China.
Can you rush my order, it’s urgent! If you have a special occasion coming up and we can feasibly do it for you, we will certainly try our best! Please drop us an email before you place your order, so we can work out if it will be possible. We aim to get back to you within 48 hours.
Do you make bespoke pieces and can you do custom sizing for certain styles? Yes on both accounts! Please drop us an email if you would like to discuss an original & bespoke piece of jewellery. In regards to custom sizing; Once you have placed an order, please email us with your order number and your required custom length.
About Margaux
Margaux Studios is a romantic new jewellery & accessories brand from British designer Abigayil Swann, launched in 2020.
“After nearly 10 years of working in the fast fashion industry, I became sick of working for brands that had very little moral, creative or sustainable principles. It was always about being the ‘first to market’ with trends that only lasted for a few months, and this put a huge amount of pressure on the designers, buyers, factories and environment. I decided to quit and set up a new jewellery brand that was sustainable, beautiful and offered a completely made-to order service”
Only the finest materials and components are sourced personally by Abi, and then hand-made in North London with a belief that fashion should be leading the way for shopping with a positive impact.
